Neuraptive Therapeutics
Neuraptive is a Philadelphia based company developing an innovative intervention for the repair of cut and crushed peripheral nerves. Based on extensive preclinical and early clinical testing, this technology has the potential to advance the recovery cycle and dramatically improve the final outcome for patients.
Neuraptive’s product comprises three sterile solutions and a device for focal, topical application directly to the affected nerve which, when applied sequentially according to the instructions for use, constitute a therapeutic addition to standard surgical repair (microsuturing) for patients with acute peripheral nerve injuries. The process is referred to as PEG-fusion. The delivery device component of the Neuraptive product serves to concentrate drug exposure at the injury site and protect the surrounding tissues from exposure.
