Dr. Hariharan completed his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Banaras Hindu University in India and his doctorate in pharmacy at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Deirdre BeVard
Executive in Residence
Deirdre currently serves as the SVP, R&D Strategic Operations for CSL Behring. In this role she heads up an integration center for R&D, leading a broad range of global R&D functions focused on connectivity, strategic alignment, portfolio and operational execution excellence, and patient engagement. Her areas of responsibility include Clinical Development Operations, R&D Project Management, Integrated Business Operations & Planning, R&D Enabling Technology, and Patient Focus Integration. Additionally, the Heads of R&D Japan and R&D China report to Deirdre.
Previously in her career, Deirdre led Clinical Development Operations organizations at Nektar Therapeutics, Endo Pharmaceuticals and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. During her tenure at those organizations, she led operational teams responsible for the development of Abilify®, SAMSCA®, Pletal®, Belcuca™, AVEED®, Foresta® and Supprelin® LA. Deirdre also held significant leadership roles establishing research site organizations, including an innovative start-up dedicated to bringing clinical trials to community physicians and patients. She also has experience working in a CRO and a start-up software company. This diversity of experience has given her a broad perspective of the clinical research industry. Deirdre’s leadership expertise is in creating teams and environments that allow for innovation and performance excellence. Her passion is in partnering with patients and their providers for increased and optimized opportunities for clinical trials.
Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College in PA. She has been awarded an HBA Rising Star and PharmaVoice 100 of the Most Inspiring People for Change Agent category.
